SCOTT MCBRIDE ON THE WOODWRIGHT’S SHOP
Roy Underhill – alias “The Woodwright” – came to visit us when Montpelier’s 1760 roof was under reconstruction in 2006. Roy’s show “The Woodwright’s Shop” has been a popular fixture on public television for over a decade. His film crew’s experience was apparent as they taped the segment – the camera guy perched on a tiny scaffold about twenty feet in the air like it was no big deal.

SCOTT MCBRIDE ON CABLE TALK WITH BARRY LEE
This was a promo appearance Scott did on a cable TV talk show after the publication of his first book “Landscaping with Wood” (currently revised under the title “Building Outdoor Structures”). The host Barry Lee is a friendly chap in a bantamweight package, whereas Scott looks particularly gangly in a new long-sleeved cowboy shirt. Their side-by-side appearance reminds one a little of the Lincoln-Douglas debates, or maybe Rocky and Bulwinkle.
